Tour Description
This 12 day tour combines the the scenic diversity of Cape Town and the Garden Route with the.wildlife of the Kruger National Park and the crafts and cultural traditions of Swaziland and Zululand.
The Garden Route is one of the most magnificent, awe-inspiring stretches of land in South Africa with majestic mountains, breathtaking views, a natural garden of rich, colourful vistas, with valleys and lakes, rivers and forests, a paradise for bird-lovers and nature lovers, an eco-destination like few others in the world, with miles upon miles of beautiful, white sandy beaches and a zillion things to do and explore.
KwaZulu Natal offers the visitor an interaction of natural wonders, modern facilities, fascinating cultures and a rich history - in a breathtakingly beautiful landscape with a variety of settings. And it is also well-known for the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - and Zululand provides visitors with many opportunities to enjoy and share in the culture and history of the Zulu people.
The world-renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa and the world. The landlocked Kingdom of Swaziland offers the visitor the advantage of discovering a whole new country filled with bygone African traditions and culture. Swaziland is an exciting tourist destination with its art and craft outlets and traditional markets.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Wednesday: Cape Town - Oudtshoorn
Travel Route 62 via Montagu and the 'Klein Karoo' to Oudtshoorn, ostrich capital of the world.
Overnight in Oudtshoorn. [D]
Day 2 - Thursday: Oudtshoorn - Knysna
After breakfast tour vast limestone Cango Caves, and Ostrich Show Farm (guided). Travel to quaint Knysna (shopping opportunity).
Overnight in Knysna. [B]
Day 3 - Friday: Knysna
Leisurely start before lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve, trailer ride to top of Western Head, and walk back through milkwood trees for lunch (included).
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Knysna. [BL]
Day 4 - Saturday: Knysna - Port Elizabeth
Travel via Tsitsikamma Forest to Port Elizabeth.
Check into hotel. Overnight in Port Elizabeth. [BD]
Day 5 - Sunday: Port Elizabeth - Durban
Transfer for Durban flight. (Cost of flight and and departure tax not included in cost)
On arrival transfer to hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.

Day 6 - Monday: Durban
Day at leisure in Durban (unescorted). Opportunity for optional Day Excursion (own account). [B]
Day 7 - Tuesday: Durban - Zululand
Travel to Zululand. Visit cultural village for lunch and show. Travel to Hluhluwe-Umfolozi for overnight. [BL]
Day 8 - Wednesday: Zululand - Swaziland
Early morning game drive. Travel to Swaziland and visit craft market. Complimentary (optional) afternoon excursion to Swazi candle factory. Overnight in Swaziland. [B]
Day 9 - Thursday: Swaziland - Mpumalanga
Visit a glass factory. Travel to hotel outside Kruger Park. Late afternoon or night open-vehicle game drives (optional and for own account). Overnight in Mpumalanga. [B]
Day 10 - Friday: Mpumalanga
Early morning coffee or tea. Open vehicle game drive through Kruger Park with pre-packed breakfast. Return to hotel for afternoon at leisure. Optional late afternoon or night open-vehicle game drives available (and for own account). [B]
Day 11 - Saturday: Mpumalanga
Depart and travel via scenic Panorama Route, Blyde River Canyon and God's Window.
Overnight in Mpumalanga. [B]
Day 12 - Sunday: Johannesburg
After breakfast, travel to Johannesburg where tour ends. [B]
