Tour Description
The Caprivi is a narrow strip of land in the far northeast of Namibia, about 400 kilometres long. Germany exchanged the area - together with Helgoland - with the United Kingdom for Zanzibar in 1890. It was named after the German chancellor of the time, Graf von Caprivi, who signed the contract with the British.
The Caprivi belongs to the tropical climate zone and receives high rainfalls during the rainy season (December to March). This, together with the high temperatures, results in a high humidity factor. Malaria prophylactic is strongly recommended for the Caprivi.

DAY 1 - SATURDAY WINDHOEK - OTAVI
Depart for Okahandja and visit Herero graves and local handicraft market. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight on farm near Otavi. [Dinner]
DAY 2 - SUNDAY OTAVI - MAHANGO PARK
Travel via Rundu to Kavango River in Western Caprivi. Enjoy Namibia's green paradise. Sunset cruise near Mahango Game Park. Overnight near the Mahango Park. [Breakfast and Dinner]
DAY 3 - MONDAY MAHANGO PARK - MUDUMU NATIONAL PARK
Game drive along floodplains of Mahango Game Park. Visit Popa Falls. Continue to Mudumu National Park. Gaming activity at sunset. Overnight at comfortable lodge at Kwando River. [Breakfast and Dinner + Lunch Pack]
DAY 4 - TUESDAY MODUMO NATIONAL PARK
Full day at Kwando River with cruise and game drive near Mudumu National Park, in search of hippo, buffalo and elephant. Abundant bird life. Overnight at comfortable lodge at Kwando River. [Full Board]
DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY MODUMO NATIONAL PARK - BOTSWANA
Travel to Katima Mulilo. Continue into Botswana to Kasane. Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. Overnight near Chobe River. [Breakfast and Dinner]
DAY 6 - THURSDAY BOTSWANA - KASANE/VICTORIA FALLS
Early morning game activity. Depart for either Kasane or Victoria Falls. Tour ends at hotel/airport at Victoria Falls or Kasane. [Breakfast]
