Tour Description
Tsakane is based in the privately owned Balule Game Reserve which is part of the Greater Kruger National Park and situated near Phalaborwa in the Limpopo. It is home to Africa’s ‘Big Five’ - Lion, Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant and Leopard.
The traill is conducted from a wilderness camp. The Tsakane Wilderness Trail Camp comprises four dome safari tents, complete with comfortable camp furnishings, an outdoor shower, flush toilet and central lapa and fire place. The camp specialises in providing a unique wilderness experience.
The Trail Rangers will not only share there knowledge with you, but encourage you to fully participate during the trail.

Itinerary
Day One
Guests arrive at Tsakane Safari Lodge in the afternoon. A meet and greet session together with a safety orientation is held at the bar.
Guests are transferred to Tsakane Wilderness Trail Camp in a game viewing vehicle where they unpack and relax until dinner.
Dinner is prepared on and served around the camp fire.
Day Two
05h00 rise and shine to a cup of coffee. And thereafter embark on a walk. Return to Tsakane Wilderness Trail Camp at 10h00.
Brunch is served and thereafter guests are transferred to Tsakane Safari Camp by game viewer where they may enjoy the midmorning swimming, having a private Jacuzzi, game viewing from our deck overlooking the camp waterhole or socialising around the bar. A light lunch is served at Tsakane Safari Camp.
Guests walk back to Tsakane Wilderness Trail Camp during the late afternoon and on arrival at Tsakane Wilderness Trail Camp enjoy and open-air shower, some time socialising under our viewing lapa before dinner is served around the camp fire.
Day Three
Guests enjoy an early walk and there after a game drive where a picnic brunch is prepared and served on the banks of the Olifants River.
The afternoon is spent relaxing at Tsakane Wilderness Trail Camp before a sundowner’s walk in the late afternoon with sundowners refreshments enjoyed at a viewing point ‘deep in the bush’.
Once again dinner is served around the campfire.
Day Four
An early breakfast is served at Tsakane Wilderness Trail Camp before guests are transferred to Tsakane Safari Camp from where they bid farewell and depart.
