Itinerary
Day 1 Johannesburg
Get acquainted with the energy of this city of contrasts.

Day 2 Khama Rhino Sanctuary
This former hunting ground is now a thriving conservation area for the endangered white rhino. Visits to this sanctuary benefit both the animals and the local communities that banded together to establish it. Try to spot magnificent rhinos - and a wealth of other African creatures including wildcats, antelope, giraffes and wildebeest.

Days 3-5 Okavango Delta
Navigate a snaking network of lily-filled channels, islands and lagoons on foot and in a mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe guided by a local poler. Keep watch for hippos, elephants and other animals emerging from the Kalahari Desert. Camp in a remote part of this wetland wilderness.

Day 6 Chobe National Park
Explore this lush, forested park and perhaps glimpse its proud lions and plentiful elephants. As the sun melts into the horizon, cruise the Chobe River to see African fish eagles and maybe elephants by the banks.

Days 7-8 Livingstone/ Victoria Falls
Perhaps enjoy one last optional game drive, board a ferry into Zambia and plunge into the cavalcade of thrill-seeking activities around Livingstone. Soak-up the first sight of Victoria Falls, a smashing sheet of water so powerful its spray can be seen for miles.

Day 9 Nata
Forge through Botswana's spreading grasslands, spotting animals en route to the Makgadikgadi Pans. Filled with flamingos in the wet season, this eerie salt expanse is unforgettable at sunset.

Day 10 Johannesburg
After a scenic drive through stark South African terrain, farewell new friends back in Johannesburg.
