Located in the heart of the Southern Drakensberg, the Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Spa Resort is nestled in a tranquil valley surrounded by rolling hills and crisp mountain air.
The resort offers you access to spectacular walks and hikes, a choice of contemporary rooms or thatched bungalows, sparkling swimming pools and the The Glengarry Country Club, which is the only 18-hole golf course in the area and overlooks the picturesque Lake KwaNyoni with the beautiful mountains as a backdrop.
Itinerary
Day One: Durban - Drakensberg
09h00: Suggested time of departure from Durban (approx 3 hours).
12h00: Estimated time of arrival at Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Spa Resort.
Enjoy a relaxing light lunch (optional) on the terrace, overlooking the majestic Drakensberg Mountains.
14h00: Check-in and refresh.
Remainder of the day at leisure where you can enjoy one of the many recreational activities offered at the resort.

Drakensberg Gardens has three restaurants for dinner for you to choose from -
Bergview - A la carte restaurant
Eagles Roost - buffet meals (at R120.00 per person)
VineKnot - set-mennu (at R110.00 per person)

19h30: Dinner at the Bergview Restaurant. Enjoy pre-dinner drink in Bergview Bar and then experience cozy dining in the 40 seater restaurant with new menu offered by Executive Chef.
Overnight at Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Spa Resort.
Day Two: Drakensberg
06h30: Buffet breakfast available in the Eagles Roost Restaurant.
Spend the morning playing golf on the only 18-hole golf course in Southern Berg or take time out in the Wellness Centre.
12h30: Following the mornings activities, enjoy a light lunch at the Glengarry County Club, overlooking the golf course.
Following lunch enjoy a leisurely horse ride and take in some of the most beautiful sites in the Southern Drakensberg. On your return, relax next to the pool on the property until the sun sets.
19h30: Enjoy dinner at the Vineknot Restaurant.
Overnight at Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Spa Resort.
Day Three: Drakensberg
06h30: Buffet breakfast available in the Eagles Roost Restaurant.
Take a drive up Sani Pass and have a drink at the Highest Pub in Africa. The scenery is spectacular! (Only 4x4 vehicles are authorized to drive the entire way, standard vehicles can drive as far as the South African border post). Enquire at reception about 4x4 quad bike trails / 4x4 vehicle tours up the pass should you not have a 4x4 vehicle).
13h30: On your return to the resort, enjoy a light lunch at The Bistro. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure to enjoy some R&R prior to dinner.
19h30: Dinner at Eagles Roost Restaurant.
Day Four: Drakensberg - Durban
06h30: Buffet breakfast available in the Eagles Roost Restaurant.
10h00: Check-out prior to returning to Durban.
