  Tour Description
Answer the call of the Kruger, the vast, famous southern game park teeming with Africa's most iconic creatures. This four-day safari puts you right in the thick of the park's grasslands and forests, filled with birdlife and big game.

Keep an eye out for grazing elephants, giraffes and wildebeest from your safari vehicle, and try to spot prowling lions and leopards at night. Visit the Mafunyani Cultural Village for a lesson in traditional dance and song and to feast on a local lunch.

This is a short adventure, but an action-packed and memorable one.

Important: Only children over 13 years are allowed on the 4 Day Kruger Adventure, as the Kruger regulation will not allow children younger than 13 years on open safari vehicles.

Pre- and Post departure Accommodation
The tour departs from Johannesburg around 05:00 - 06:00.

Departures and drop off's will be from Amadwala Lodge only.

Amadwala Lodge offers Airport Shuttles as well as private transfers. Clients need to book their seats on the shuttle in advance.

We can collect from one of the main hotels in Sandton aswell.

Return times are not guaranteed due to any unforeseen delays. Due to this we recommended that you book your onward travel arrangement for the day after. Estimated drop off time is 19:00 – 19:30.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Johannesburg/Kruger National Park
Discover the vast plains of the Kruger National Park where the Big Five roam. Jump onboard an open safari vehicle to explore the park in the search of the iconic wildlife. Enjoy a campfire dinner before venturing out again on a late night safari drive. (Dinner)

Days 2-3 - Kruger National Park
Depart at first light for an entire day’s game viewing. Call by the park’s idyllic waterholes and venture into the landscape on foot with park rangers. Squeeze in another early morning game drive then there is an optional visit the Mafunyani Cultural Village to learn about traditional dance and song and to enjoy a local lunch. Luxuriate in a private safari lodge and tuck into a barbecue dinner in a boma, a local African house. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Day 4 - Johannesburg
An early rise as we head out on a morning bush walk and learn to track wild animals. After breakfast, we depart for Johannesburg stopping in Mpumalanga Province as we travel along the Drakensberg Escarpment to view the spectacular setting of the Three Rondawels overlooking the Blyde River Canyon. (Breakfast)

Accommodation
Semi luxury en-suite chalets/safari tents (1 night); camping with facilities (2 nights). Camping is in permanent dome tents with bedding (sleeping bags) provided.

Transport
A 13 seat air-conditioned Minibus is used for transfers to and from Kruger Park and custom built open safari vehicles are used for all game drives in Kruger Park.

What To Bring
Participants are advised to bring the following:
Insect repellant, flashlight, binoculars, camera, sun hat, sunscreen, warm clothing for open vehicle game drives, comfortable walking shoes, towels and pillow and sleeping bag (if required)

Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for the safari.

Tour Include

Travel insurance - which is compulsory.
