Tour Description This 5-Day Tour will The Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. There is a magic about them manifested in the towering column of spray when the river is high, the thunder of the falling water, the terrifying abyss and tranquil lagoons upstream in which hippo and deadly crocodiles lurk.
The Victoria falls is 1 708 meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world. It drops between 90m and 107m into the Zambezi Gorge and an average of 550,000 cubic metres of water plummet over the edge every minute.
Chobe Game Reserve is superb elephant and big game country, and large numbers of elephant can be seen. Antelope, including the rare Puku, as well as predators such as Lion are abound in this region.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS AT VICTORIA FALLS The Refurbishment of The A’ Zambezi River Lodge commenced with effect from the 1st of June 2010. The lodge is in the process of a phased extensive refurbishment process which entails a complete makeover of the rooms and the general landscape of the facility. The refurbishment which is expected to be complete by the 1st of April 2011

Itinerary Day 1 Johannesburg - Victoria Falls Mid-morning departure. Hotel transfer on arrival at Victoria Falls. Late afternoon African Spectacular tribal dancing. Overnight in Victoria Falls at A’Zambezi River Lodge.
A'Zambezi River Lodge is on the banks of the Zambezi river in Victoria Falls just a few kilometers upstream from the Victoria Falls bordering the Zambezi National Park. The Lodge offers a true African experience. This informal hotel is a semicircular thatched structure 4km from Victoria Falls town with swimming pool and poolside barbecues.
Guests enjoy free transport to and from the Falls several times a day. All 83 rooms have air-conditioning, with private bathroom, phone, radio and colour TV, 2 restaurants and 3 bars.
Day 2 Victoria Falls After breakfast a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. This walking safari takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the Cataracts, Livingstone’s statue and a wide variety of birds and plants. Visit the craft village which offers the opportunity of seeing traditional lifestyles and markets. In the afternoon take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi. (Breakfast)
Day 3 Victoria Falls - Chobe National Park Road transfer to Chobe National Park in Botswana, approximately 100km’s west of Victoria Falls.
Chobe National Park is home to 450 species of birds and the largest concentration of elephants in Africa.
Overnight in one of the lodges situated on the banks of the Chobe River within the Chobe National Park offering the best location to experience the true African wilderness. (Full Board)
Day 4 Chobe National Park Full day at leisure. Activities which can be undertaken (own cost) at Chobe Game Lodge include game drives, water safaris on small outboard motor dingys and a daily sundowner cruise. Excellent meals. Overnight Chobe Lodge. (Full Board)
Day 5 Chobe - Victoria Falls - Johannesburg After breakfast transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for return flight to Johannesburg International Airport. (Breakfast)
