Tour Description
Visit Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side.
There is a magic about them manifested in the towering column of spray when the river is high, the thunder of the falling water, the terrifying abyss and tranquil lagoons upstream in which hippo and deadly crocodiles lurk.
The Victoria falls is 1 708 meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world.
It drops between 90m and 107m into the Zambezi Gorge and an average of 550,000 cubic metres of water plummet over the edge every minute.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS AT VICTORIA FALLS
The Refurbishment of The A’ Zambezi River Lodge commenced with effect from the 1st of June 2010. The lodge is in the process of a phased extensive refurbishment process which entails a complete makeover of the rooms and the general landscape of the facility. The refurbishment which is expected to be complete by the 1st of April 2011.

Itinerary
Day 1 Johannesburg - Victoria Falls
Depart Johannesburg mid-morning for flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival transfer to hotel. Late afternoon attend the African Spectacular Tribal Dancing.
Overnight in Victoria Falls at the A'Zambezi Hotel. This scenic lodge is splendidly situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river - and only four kilometres from the Victoria Falls. The hotel offers a courtesy bus with transport between the town and hotel.
DAy 2 Victoria Falls
After breakfast a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. This walking safari takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the Cataracts, Livingstone’s statue and a wide variety of birds and plants.
Visit the craft village which offers the opportunity of seeing traditional lifestyles and markets. In the afternoon take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi.

Day 3 Victoria Falls - Johannesburg
Breakfast.
Mid morning transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for return flight to Johannesburg International Airport.
