Tour Description
Pilanesberg is one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind in the world. Its rare rock types and structure make it a unique geological feature.
The Sun City Resort within the Pilanesberg is world famous for attractions like the Valley of Waves, the Palace of the Lost City, casino's and more.
The Pilanesberg Game Reserve has an abundance of wild life in 580 square km of diverse and arresting bushveld terrain. The park is home to healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa's "Big Five". A wide variety of rare and common species exist with endemic species like the nocturnal brown hyaena, the fleet-footed cheetah, the majestic sable, as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo and crocodile, to mention but a few.
All of the tours depart daily and the rates include complimentary return transfers from Johannesburg or Pretoria.
Included in the day tours are:

Pilanesberg Game Reserve Day Tour (JDT29)
Visit the fourth largest game reserve in South Africa, spanning over 50’000 hectares on mixed terrain ranging from low lying to savannah to the mountains of the Pilanesberg, hence the name. An exciting variety of animals are available for viewing pleasure. The park is malaria free and lies right within the same extinct volcanic crater as Sun City.
